hello everyone
its been a long time since I have posted on here! My fault..for real. i told myself that I would post a lot during winter break, because I was planning on spending all my time sitting on the couch and watching television...but of course I found stuff to do...even school work! Jeesh, right? I'm one of those people who can have an entire afternoon free and find tons of little things that need to be done...Im sad to say, I blame this on college. BUT, this allows me to do a kinda crazy number of things in one day and sometimes end up doing amazing things. Like go see a Beloit International Film Festival movie, or take a random trip to the bookstore, or end up baking cookies....you know random fun things that are unplanned. thats what college gives you...and until next time...adios.

Hello. My name is Alex Catalan. Some people call me a-cat also. I'm from Chicago, but call Beloit, Wisconsin my home. I am a sophomore and have not declared a major, but will at some point. For now, I'm enjoying my life as a college student and I hope to share some of it with you. Welcome.

i think this is a nice page. my boyfriend is going to beloit next year to study abroad from ecuador and i think your page is an awesome resource for him to get ready and prepare for his year there. very cool idea. you should tell the international office perhaps to give your blog to international students as a resource..
